City
Manager
The City Manager's office oversees and manages the administrative
operations of the City and provides administrative support to the
Mayor and City Counsel in the establishment of policy. The primary
goals of this office are to ensure the delivery of services to the
community, manage the daily operation of the City's departments
and enforce the policies and ordinances adopted by the City. This
office also helps in the establishment of goals and objectives for
the City and the implementation thereof. The City Manager's office
is directly responsible for the daily operations of human resources,
municipal court, city secretary and administrative activities. The
City Manager's office also oversees the operations of Fire, Police,
Public Works, and Finance.

City
Secretary
The City Secretary is responsible for the maintenance and custodianship of municipal records; attends each meeting of the governing body of the municipality and keeps accurate minutes of the governing body’s proceedings. Attends all meetings of any Boards appointed by the governing body and keeps accurate minutes. Prepare all notices required under any regulation or ordinance of the municipality. The City Secretary conducts municipal elections, serves as records management officer, files all contracts made by City and serves as secretary to the Mayor, Council and City Manager.

Public Works Director
The Public Works Director is responsible for the overall management of the streets, parks, drainage, water, and sewer activities of the City. Plans for future requirements of the department and insures the day-to-day operations are maintained. Responsible for enforcing building codes and oversees the Code Enforcement Office. Provides service to the community, including effective and expedient maintenance of public right-of-ways, parks, streets, drainage, water and sewer.

Director
of Finance
The Finance Department is primarily responsible for the central
processing of all financial related data and information for the
City. The activities necessary to perform this function are as follows:
processing of accounts payable documents, accounts receivable invoices,
purchase orders and payroll; maintenance of the general ledger;
preparation of reports and documents, such as the annual budget,
comprehensive annual financial report and other interim financial
reports; and responsibility for cash management and depository functions
for the City's cash and investments.

Police Chief/Emergency Management Coordinator
The Los Fresnos Police Department mission is to provide protection
and service to the community. Major goals of the Department are
to reduce crime through prevention, detection, and apprehension;
provide for the orderly and safe movement of vehicular traffic through
traffic law enforcement, accident prevention and accident investigation;
and ensure public safety through regulation and control of hazardous
conditions; the recovery and return of lost and stolen property;
and to provide non-enforcement services through programs reflecting
community needs and desires.

Municipal Judge
The Municipal Judge upholds State and Local laws. Conducts Court on Wednesdays 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
